Calling all Tampa Bay Musicians! This Blog is dedicated to all unsigned, up and coming bands in the area. I am currently taking submissions for consideration in what will be the heart of this blog, “The Artist Spotlight.”
In each Artist Spotlight I will be giving a brief history of your band/act, comments from your fans, upcoming shows, merchandise info, links to your sites, and even performance clips. For a limited time I am providing a solid PR article at absolutely no cost to you! I am offering these services for free but will soon charge for these promotions
The only thing that I ask in return for a generous and thorough review of your act is that you promote my blog on your sites and where you can to help get the word out! See the requirements below for submissions details. The faster you get your submission to me, the faster I can dedicate a post to your act. Since all the featured artists in the Spotlight will be promoting the site, you are greatly increasing your chances of getting your name out there.
I plan on making this blog the number one place to find info on bands in the Tampa Bay Area, and in doing so I plan to make several connections with local venues as well. I do not forget favors done for me and the more you help get the word out about my blog, the more I will put the good word in for you around the area.
“Artist Spotlight” Submission Requirements
First, all applicants should be already getting at least one show a month in the local area. I’d like to attend at least one show from every performance featured in the spotlight (getting me in for free would deffinitely rock). This shows me that you are already committed enough as an act to get your own performances and that you should have a fan base forming.
All applications for consideration must:
- Contain a breif history of your band/act
- Provide any links to your sites (MySpace, YouTube, Official URL)
- Some sort of audio or video must be provided in link form – I am not going to write a review on everyone who applies, only those who show potential
- Upcoming Show Dates
I will likely need more information on you to make a useful post, but I will be in close contact with you to give further details if your are chosen for the Spotlight.

All genres of musicians are being considered, except country. Sorry, that’s just the only type of music I’m not in to and this is my blog :p
